History of the house

Nunnery with a large statue of Mary in the facade

The house was built in 1850 and for many years it served as a nunnery and explains why in the past there was a large Maria statue on the gable (see picture). From the early seventies it was owned by 3 single brothers and a sister. In 2011 the last remaining sibling, sister Charlotte (96 yrs), left the house to move to an aged care home. In March 2016 she too passed away.
